# Copywriting Frameworks That Convert

Ad copywriting is not creative writing. It is persuasion engineering. The best ad copy does not win awards — it drives revenue. And it does so by following proven psychological frameworks, not by being clever or poetic.

Two frameworks dominate modern advertising: AIDA and PAS. They work because they mirror how humans process information and make decisions.

The AIDA Framework

A — Attention: Stop the scroll. Your headline has 1-2 seconds to earn the next 5 seconds of attention. I — Interest: Make it relevant. "This applies to me because..." D — Desire: Make them want the outcome. Paint a picture of life after using your product. A — Action: Tell them exactly what to do next. Clear, specific, low-friction.
