flight deal strategy:

1. Which days of the week are typically cheapest for transatlantic
   flights?
2. How far in advance should I book for October travel?
3. What nearby airports should I check (both origin and destination)?
4. Which airline alliances fly this route?
5. What is a "good price" for this route in October? (I know you
   cannot check live prices, but what is the typical range?)
6. Which deal-finding tools should I use? (Google Flights, Skyscanner,
   etc.)
7. Should I set any price alerts? On which platforms?
